Regional Marketing Specialist


The Regional Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing regional marketing support. You will work closely with headquarters marketing team, regional general managers and sales team to develop successful marketing campaigns, events and promotions that increase brand awareness and effectively grow the user base. 


What you'll do: 

  • Function as region’s contact with headquarters office for all marketing efforts, giving a voice to your region for how to localize national brand marketing and partnership efforts
  • Local promotion plans with GMs, including filling out quarterly promo planning document and asana request for marketing campaign
  • Submission of all Asana tickets (project management tool)  for any creative requests, including in-app promos, flyers, and customized collateral
  • Own execution of promotional campaigns on a local level, including planning and requesting assets for social, CRM, and in-app channels
  • Execute local WeChat Editorial Media Buys under the direction of HQ Digital Marketing strategy, to grow awareness in local market
  • Oversea local content and social media management
  • Ensure implementation of welcome kits & customized collateral for restaurant marketing
  • Facilitate local Influencer outreach, under the direction of HQ KOL strategy, 
  • Execute on Offline marketing with HQ strategy - might include Flyering, Direct Mail, Wild Postings, Events (post-COVID)
  • Work with HQ partnership team to execute on local partnerships, potentially including roadshows, on-campus promotions, in-apartment building promotions, event sponsorships, etc.
  • Work with HQ Marketing Planner to evaluate and measure success on local marketing on a regular basis


What you'll need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred 1-2 years of marketing experience including internship, specifically in content marketing, and social media management
  • Deep understanding of WeChat account management and content generation
  • Actively involved in student activities with demonstrated experience of organizing events, developing partnerships, and promoting events
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a team player
  • Effective project management skills to keep projects on track
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and be flexible enough to evolve in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent verbal & written communication written and communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends
