Product Marketing Manager - Tax

In the role of Product Marketing Manager, you have the opportunity to influence and guide strategy as it relates to customer communications, go-to-market planning, product adoption programs, peer-to-peer programs, and industry marketing campaigns.
This role works closely with the sales and marketing teams, and connects with SMEs across the organization to ensure content accuracy and message consistency, and to propel revenue generation opportunities.
The candidate should have experience working with Corptax software solutions, have established relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and customers, understand and believe in the value of Corptax software, Professional Services, Customer Support, and Customer Education—and be able to articulate our key differentiators.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as a customer advocate and help drive software and Professional Services revenue by communicating product value to internal (Corptax employees) and external customers.
- Gather and share customer and sales/support product feedback covering support issues, sales demonstrations, and other areas of product development.
- Collaborate across functional teams to train and share who our customer base is and how our products will benefit their tax processes.
- Educate both internal and external stakeholders on product features and client adoptions of upcoming enhancements and product changes.
- Develop product messaging to be leveraged for internal and external content to ensure clear and compelling messaging.
- Create and coordinate launch plans for go-to market strategies to convey product value and engage customers and prospects.
- Contribute to and review creation and messaging of product value that aligns with the buying process and sales cycle through sales collateral, presentations, website content, and thought leadership assets including webinars, white papers, and blog posts.
- Work with Events Manager to build relevant and timely content for delivery of marketing events such as webinars, virtual conferences, tradeshows, and others.
- Assist with securing talent – internal SMEs and customers – and guiding them to deliver ideas, information, and strategies that support over-arching Corptax goals and initiatives.
- Ensure consistent messaging with cross-functional teams for marketing campaigns, customer communications, the Corptax users’ conference, and other client-facing content.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of customers and the competitive landscape
- Extensive knowledge of Corptax products
- Experience working as a tax professional using Corptax software
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to learn quickly and apply problem-solving skills to business and technical challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with added ability to sell ideas
- Able to consistently meet deadlines for multiple, competing projects and communicate effectively with different stakeholders
