Product Marketing Manager

We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support and execute Vibes’ product marketing and drive the success of existing products and future innovations. The selected candidate will be a product marketer who is well versed in B2B marketing best practices and has experience working in an agile development and/or a lean start-up environment. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to an exciting and critical chapter in Vibes’ growth and success. This position is located in downtown Chicago at 300 W. Adams Street and reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop messaging for product value proposition and deliver best-of-breed sales and marketing materials, including sales presentations, sell sheets, demos, etc.
- Translate technical product capabilities into value propositions written to pique interest across a variety of buyer personas and stages of the purchase lifecycle
- Establish, maintain and leverage partnerships with Engineering, Product Management, Client Service, and Sales to drive internal and external readiness for adoption and in-market success for new products
- Shape product marketing messaging & materials for specific audiences
- Identify opportunities to illuminate products and services through case studies
- Help to develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Vibes’ products in the market
- Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Develop standardized sales presentations, proposals, scripts, etc.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience in product marketing, including 3 years in digital and/or mobile
- 2 years experience in B2B marketing, preferably software
- Command of best practices across marketing, product strategy and positioning
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and clients
- Strong organizational skills and experience balancing longer term goals and projects against day-to-day requests
- Understanding of sales, marketing, and development processes
