This role will support the fast paced strategic growth of Home Chef’s retail marketing team. As the Marketing Associate you will be the hub of the execution and project management for the tactics to engage the shopper for Home Chef’s retail business. This role will require a very high level of collaboration working cross functionally with teams both internally at Home Chef and with our partners at Kroger. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical to be successful in this role. Opportunity to learn and engage in other areas of retail brand marketing as well.  

Campaign executions:

• Targeted media (including online ads, search, coupons, etc) submissions, deadlines, creative requirement, results tracking 
• Optimize online search tactics based on keywords, bid amounts and analyze past performance trends to improve targeting
• Manage multiple campaign systems (Podio & CAAM) and online search tactics (Instacart, PromoteIQ)
• Oversee relationship with Kroger.com Site Team to ensure accuracy on our brand page, stay privy to seasonal activations and provide recommendations on additional areas of the site to promote Home Chef
• Coordinate with print services on in store promotional case clings 
• Coordinate with Kroger Marketing on weekly signage documents
• Collaboratively plan creative requirements for media assets and in-store print activations

Project Management:

• Timeline management of planning meetings with brand managers
• Coordinate store list needs for all promotions (if applicable)
• Review final creative files for accuracy & send out all final files to key stakeholders
• Ensure team marketing calendar is always up to date with the latest promotional/campaign details

Reporting and other retail marketing tracking:

• Weekly team share outs
• Monthly team reviews
• Manage discount tracking with finance team
• Tracking of campaign and promo results 
• Monthly pulls of Mintel and other insights reports

Develop and own email plan supporting retail promotions and new product launches:

• Coordinate with brand managers to identify priorities for email execution and work with email team to build plans into their broader communications calendar
• Utilize Wrike PM system to develop creative briefs for all email requests, oversee creative development and ensure creative is handed off on time to appropriate stakeholders 
• Ensure timelines are accurate and work closely with creative PM to ensure they are met
• Work closely with email team to develop testing opportunities and report on results

• Individuals who are motivated, hungry to learn, data-driven and eager to get valuable hands-on experience will be rewarded with opportunities to grow within this role
• 2+ years of experience in a rigorous fast-paced work environment – CPG, manufacturing, data analytics consulting, finance, etc
• Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
• Professional communication and relationship building skills
• Previous marketing or project management experience preferred
• Experience writing creative briefs preferred Independent self-starter, driven to find solutions without significant oversight, strong attention to detail
• Results driven active problem solver with a natural desire to get things done
