JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Digital Communications Consultant is to support the successful launch and implementation of the Digital Excellence program, driving alignment with our global business partners, including Industry groups, OPEX programs, Cat Digital, and DSDs.

Key job duties include, but not limited to:

• Internal Communications
• Develop DEP’s communication strategies, plans, services, and deliverables
• Responsible for deliverables that include, but are not limited to, speeches, video scripts, presentations, Weekly News, Program’s cascades etc
• Manage SharePoint site for all DEP related content
• Work as Communications liaison to represent DEP on global projects and Lead Communicator meetings
• Develop content for multiple communication channels, including presentations, newsletters, yammer, internal website and cat.com
• Ability to distill complex messaging into simple and impactful graphics while maintaining the brand standards for Digital
• Create customer facing marketing materials by working directly with marketing managers to promote caterpillar's digital products and services
• Track and provide visibility to global program action plans, working with program category SMEs.
• Collaborate with other Operational Excellence programs communicators to ensure alignment
• Create & manage “Feedback & Escalation Loops” for digital platform deployments & improvements
• Develop and streamline dealer collaboration via dealer practice sharing
• External Dealer Communications
• Provide ongoing dealer communications support
• Structure, manage, and Maintain digital related content on Dealer.cat.com
• Limited travel required (Less than 5% of working time).

Basic Requirements:

• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• Looking for candidate who is most able and adept in their communication
• Candidate who can perfectly tailor messages to his/her audience, Candidate who is mature and sensitive to his/her target audience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Extremely responsive, highly professional and completes projects in a timely manner
• Someone who works well both on a team and independently, depending on the situation
• Someone who is comfortable managing projects

Top candidates will have:

• Previous industry experience working with dealerships
• Comfortable in Adobe Creative Cloud software programs (inDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
