The Role

Root is seeking a Senior Growth Operations Manager to effectively launch and operate new growth channels and continually optimize existing ones. In this role, you will work with growth marketing channel managers on the technical operations of their channels to deliver greater efficiencies and returns. The ideal candidate is strategic and has experience working across multiple growth marketing channels including affiliate marketing, display and digital video. 


Reports to: Senior Director of Growth


What you’ll be doing

  • Lead implementation and onboarding of marketing platforms and technology that drive greater growth marketing performance such as Display & Video 360, affiliate networks (Impact Radius, Commission Junction, Partnerize), etc.
  • Audit existing growth marketing channels for opportunities to streamline processes through technology
  • Partner with channel managers to launch new marketing programs with best in class infrastructure
  • Work cross-functionally with growth marketing, operations, product and engineering to implement new technologies

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of experience working in growth marketing, marketing operations, or similar relevant experience 
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360
  • Experience with affiliate networks like Commission Junction, Partnerize, & Impact Radius
  • Experience with tag management solutions like Google Tag Manager
  • An analytical mindset and experience using data to inform decisions
  • Advanced experience with spreadsheets and an ability to work with large data sets
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well cross-functionally
