Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Client Strategy is a critical role in continuing to drive business growth and client satisfaction at Tall Ridge. This person will own oversight of key brands across different retail categories, developing and leading strategy and ensuring flawless delivery across Amazon, Walmart.com, and other online marketplaces. This person will report to the Sr. Director, Client Strategy.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a skilled problem solver with endless intellectual curiosity, a team-builder, and collaborator. Success will be achieved through effective communication, creativity, and meticulous follow-up with clients and internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of managed brands, their objectives, and keys to success
  • Lead regular client dialog, working with existing communication plans, and continuing to evolve and optimize as needed
  • Lead planning and management of brand promotions, new item launches, and all other strategic initiatives
  • Build and maintain cross-departmental relationships with Tall Ridge and client teams, including creative and production, media, and other departments to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Ongoing management, optimization, and revenue growth of our client brands on Amazon and other online marketplaces
  • Perform daily and weekly analyses to understand key trends and underlying results drivers.
  • High level of skill in developing and delivering client strategy presentations and executive-level communication
  • Must have a passion for succeeding in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Being highly organized with great attention to detail, a natural sense of urgency, and a fire to deliver winning outcomes are essential to success in this role
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills and be comfortable working with roles ranging from peers to Sr. Executives, internally and externally

 

Requirements of Role

  • 5+ years in Client Leadership and/or Strategy roles in E-commerce, Performance Marketing, and/or Digital Agencies
  • A deep understanding of consumer brands and the digital landscape 
  • Natural relationship-building skills that translate to the development of strong partnerships with brands and internal teams
  • A fire to be organized, on time, and ahead of expectations
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, communications, or other relevant fields
  • Expert skills with the tools of the trade: CRMs, Project Management Software, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to listen and ask questions that create dialog, drive improvement and build on Tall Ridge’s highly-collaborative environment
  • Some travel (5-10%) eventually, but not in the immediate future
  • Must want to win and by doing things the right way

Tall Ridge has 2 office locations: our main office is in Elk Grove Village, and our satellite office is at TechNexus, located in downtown Chicago
