Title: Search Marketing Associate/Sr. Associate
Reports to: Head of Acquisition Marketing
Team: Small Business (OnDeck, Headway Capital)
About the role:
As a Search Marketing Associate or Sr. Associate, you'll manage our SEO and SEM (pay-per-click/PPC) strategies, and optimize landing pages for our small business brands.
- Implement on-page and technical strategies to consistently rank high in major search engines
- Discover and execute methods for business expansion
- Partner with external stakeholders for effective link-building campaigns
- Handle keyword research, content plans, site structure, performance, and crawl/index management
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance website optimization
- Design and refine landing pages and A/B tests to boost conversion rates
- Oversee, test, and evaluate paid search campaigns, ensuring volume is achieved with profitable cost targets
- Monitor and adopt evolving search engine practices, seeking fresh opportunities
- Deliver regular forecasts and performance updates based on key metrics such as ranking, traffic, conversions, and profitability
- 5+ years in digital marketing encompassing UX, paid search, display, content marketing, or similar
- Proficient in SEO strategies, website management, tagging, and basic coding (knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus)
- Familiar with search engine ranking factors, web crawlers, and tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Ability to decipher data, spot trends, offer insights, and tackle intricate tasks with a technical approach
- Demonstrated skill in establishing, maintaining, and sharing timelines, and fostering cross-functional collaboration
- Open to innovative ideas, always eager to learn, maintains a proactive attitude, and versatile in addressing diverse marketing tasks
