Role Description:

The Senior Associate, Internal Communications will manage and execute the evolution of the company's internal communications to meet the needs of our fast growing and expanding business. This includes employing best practices that leverage communications to drive employee engagement, attraction and retention. Key partnerships include, HR, IT, Project Management, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of OSH's internal communications calendar and intranet channel, including proofreading, formatting, and sequencing
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure timely publishing of content that meets in-house style and site standards; drafts original content as assigned
  • Provides tactical support for major internal campaigns and special projects in collaboration with functional leaders and internal clients - brainstorming solutions, generating creative and engaging themes, helping to develop messages
  • Maintains accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized documents
  • Identifies accompanying images, graphics, and hyperlinks; and sources/produces the related content. Adapts existing content to other digital media and print formats
  • Researches and implements internal communications best practices, trends, and technologies in order to make recommendations for new tools; identifying new communication opportunities and recommending appropriate messages and vehicles
  • Measures and reports on effectiveness of campaigns; developing and disseminating monthly reports of key trends and engagement data for internal channels
  • Partners with internal IT team to review and approve/reject listserv creation requests
  • Manages internal communications inbox, dispositions and responds to inquiries
  • Create organizational communications standards, aids, tools, and templates to be used by leaders
  • Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate communications or project management
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; rigorous attention to detail
  • Initiative and ability to make sound decisions, set priorities, plan projects, organize workflow, work independently on assigned projects
  • Strong collaborator with a variety of stakeholders
  • Exceptional work ethic and follow through on initiatives
  • Punctual and reliable, with the ability to meet deadlines, strive for continuous improvement, solve problems quickly, and think outside of the box.
  • Ability to grasp care model concepts, while focusing on organization of content, grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistent use of terminology and abbreviations, etc.
  • Familiarity with internal communications tools and systems (i.e., MailChimp)
  • US work authorization
