Associate Account Executive

We are looking for an Associate Account Executive to assist the Account team in the day-to-day execution of retail programs by owning and managing multiple tasks and client relationships. The Associate Account Executive also functions as a liaison between Account, Project Management, Strategy, Creative and Marketing Operations, ensuring client needs are met at a high level of execution, on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of assigned client’s business (e.g. brand, consumer, competition, category, channel) and strategies, and brand activation/marketing trends/best practices.
- Develops and sends client communications such as conference reports and meeting agendas.
- Assists Account Supervisors, Account Director/VP in compiling and organizing information for client presentations.
PROGRAM EXECUTION
- Supports overall offer campaign strategy, objectives, expectations, program details, KPIs, associated results and campaign optimization.
- Develops internal conference and status reports.
- Manages project timelines to ensure milestones are met, and manages project estimates and costs to ensure budget is maintained. Keeps up with details, ensuring accuracy and escalating issues of time, cost or delivery issue for resolution.
- Is proficient in TMS processes and costs to assure profitability and timeliness of programs/projects.
TEAM BUILDING
- Works collaboratively and professionally across TMS departments to foster good working relationships, communicate information and facilitate the information flow to make projects successful.
- Takes on a proactive role in mentoring, training, developing and reviewing the performance of Interns.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
- 1+ year relevant marketing and/or account management experience within an agency or media
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, especially with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Is resourceful and a proactive, self-starter.
