ABOUT THE CHICAGO MARKET OPERATIONS MANAGER ROLE 
The Chicago Market Operations Manager will be responsible for running Veho’s crowdsourced delivery operation in the Chicago market. This role is the first full-time employee for Veho’s expansion into the Chicago market, and the 6th full-time member of the team. The role will report to the Director of Operations in Denver, and work closely with the company founders. This is a very hands-on role for people who like to take on big challenges and will do whatever it takes to make things happen. 

The Operations Manager will functionally report to Chris Morin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-morin/) and work closely with CEO Itamar Zur (https://www.linkedin.com/in/itamarzur/) and CTO Fred Cook (https://www.linkedin.com/in/frederickcook/).

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE: 
Is passionate about joining a top-tier early stage startup that aims to change the world. 
Loves to “get their hands dirty” and is excited about taking on big challenges. 
Owns a personal vehicle with space to carry small parcels (large car or small SUV) that can be used for work as needed. (Employee will be compensated for mileage.) 
Has extremely strong attention to detail. 
Prior experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or other generally operationally intensive role is preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: 
Recruiting and onboarding crowdsourced drivers. 
Performing or planning and supervising pickups from local client distribution centers. 
Planning daily routes and scheduling drivers according to key performance indicators. 
Solving real-time operational challenges and developing processes to improve on problem solving. 
Sorting packages into routes. 
Interacting with clients as needed to ensure smooth operations and resolve real-time issues. 
Ensuring 100% on time delivery of every package in the Chicago market. 
Proposing product features to increase operational efficiency or ease of use of our mobile app. 
Collecting feedback from drivers.

Compensation 
$40,000 - $45,000 salary depending on previous experience. 
0.10%  equity.
