Job Description

Responsible for the design and multi-generational development with Technology for solutions in scope and successful implementation & transformation of these solutions and processes at global scale. Responsible for defining and maintaining the operational processes for all activities tied to the solutions developed. This role is accountable for leading a team of Module and Process Leads and Module and Process Specialists, as well as other cross-functional teams (Technology, Engineering, Data Science) dedicated to solution(s) development and deployment.

Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across global and regional/local teams to proactively manage deployment timelines and mitigate against any slippages.

  • Own the multigenerational strategic roadmap and all solution lifecycle processes for solution(s) from design to successful deployment within the digital agenda of Data Acquisition organization to ensure business needs are met for transforming processes with the required functionality and productivity attainment.
  • Own and manage the relationship with Technology, Engineering and Data Science teams for solution(s) including reviewing capacity to meet strategic objectives, skill set alignment with priorities and delivery against expectations (timing, defects, etc).
  • Lead the development and deployment efforts from concept through requirements, build, testing, launch and deployment by providing direction, prioritization and monitoring of progress at each phase to deliver on time, functional solutions to the business. Responsible for DJTM and DCC metrics creation to ensure real transformation of business.
  • Owns financial health of solution(s) by facilitating the estimation process for new initiatives and ensuring valid business assumptions and acceptable ROI before any work is commenced; determining prioritization of features to be developed to maximize ROI for solution(s) in scope; determining prioritization of deployment by market/solution to ensure the most impactful ROI.
  • Identify mitigation opportunities for productivity gaps through functional capabilities and deployment accelerations.
  • Owns the global standards for operational processes tied to solution(s) by defining and maintaining the operational standards (SOPs), operational flows and training content.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders on the solutions or issues related to the respective area.
  • Partnering closely with regional and global Nielsen Connect teams to ensure alignment on tools, processes and it’s convergence.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. a system engineering or technical field
  • 5+ years projects experience with large programs / initiatives or 4 years experience with Nielsen products / services / stakeholders or equivalent experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong networking skills - ability to work in a cross-functional environment with several interacting teams
  • Ability to document technical requirements and effective prioritization criteria
  • Ability to drive projects and translate the results into operational or analytical solutions to problems
  • Deep technical knowledge in defining operational processes
  • Ability to work thru challenges and manage multiple high priority activities concurrent
  • Ability to balance technical, marketing and business perspectives
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to execute
  • Willingness to travel within and outside of home region
  • Fluent English Language skills
