Director, Business Systems & Compliance

3Cloud is a growing, dynamic, Azure-focused professional and managed services company, providing technology guidance to mid-market and enterprise clients across the United States. We have a smart and demanding team of 200 US-based, mostly remote consultants who need responsive and service-oriented technology support. We also have commitments to our clients and business to operate an organization built on security and privacy, and we must be compliant across an array of internal and external controls, both of which are audited on a periodic basis.

Given all that, we’re looking for someone who loves the challenge of juggling multiple sets of clients to own our internal IT systems and processes; to evolve and enforce our policies around information security and privacy; and to lead our execution in external audits of our services delivery and operations.

This role reports to our VP of Managed Services, and while internal in focus, is part of our Managed Services organization.

Responsibilities

• Own information security policy and associated procedures, and be responsible for testing and evolution of those policies and procedures.
• Own internal IT policies and processes, specifically focused on support and security of computers used by remote workers across the team.
• Manage software licensing for team, including the use of SaaS-based cloud products and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Support sales and contracts teams in vendor documentation related to security and operations (security questionnaires, audits, data handling addenda, etc.).
• Own disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and lead periodic tests of the same.
• Own execution of compliance-related business processes, including records retention/deletion, internal security audits, etc.
• Manage team of onshore personnel for support of our consulting staff.
• Develop and manage service desk for a growing organization using ITIL and other best practices.
• Operate collaboratively with 3Cloud Managed Services team to ensure fidelity between how we run our internal operations and what we do for our clients.
• Organize and drive key internal IT initiatives and projects that enable a growing organization.
• Work with other parts of the shared services organization (Finance, HR, Marketing, Recruiting) to help provide technology-enabled solutions that support their function (i.e. intneral systems, 3rd-party SaaS systems, reporting, etc.).
• Lead our annual SOC 2 Type II audit, and support other external audits, as required (Azure Expert MSP audit, Advanced Specializations, ISO, and others, as required).

Skills and Experience

• Required: 5 or more years of experience in IT leadership or senior IT role
• Required: people management experience with small teams of remote team members
• Required: demonstrated experience designing and implementing auditable systems
• Required: experience in developing and supporting key IT functions (service desk, device management, infrastructure management, devops, data management and reporting) using ITIL and other best practices
• Required: demonstrated ability to clearly document policies, procedures, and business processes
• Required: demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Required: administration experience with Microsoft Office 365
• Preferred: experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment managing multiple initiatives and priorities
• Preferred: administration experience with Salesforce.com platform
• Preferred: demonstrated ability to operate effectively with a hybrid onshore/offshore team
