The Role

The Director if IT Infrastructure is responsible for managing the technical infrastructure at Fusion offices and remote locations to ensure that it is operating effectively and efficiently to support Fusion’s day to day business operations. Fusion’s IT infrastructure encompasses a combination of on-premise and cloud technologies.  The on-premise technologies include LAN, WLAN, WAN interface, VOIP and laptops (Windows and MAC).  Fusion’s cloud technologies include Office365, Box, Zoom, salesforce.com and Financialforce.com        

 

The Director of IT Infrastructure will be interactive with business leaders, managers and employees on a daily basis and will be responsible for the performance and availability of Fusion’s on-premise technologies as well as WAN access to Fusion’s cloud technologies. Responsibilities of this position include:

• Management and Development of IT staff resources people management and mentorship• Monitoring the day to day performance and availability of Fusion IT Infrastructure• Timely and effective response to incidents which impact the availability and performance of Fusion’s IT Infrastructure• Support of Fusion’s end users’ technology: laptops, network access, voice communications • Administration and Management of Technology Assets• Manage the technology aspects of Fusion employee’s onboarding and offboard process; encompassing laptop imaging,  application access provisioning, access permissions and de-provisioning• Manage the budget for Fusion IT Infrastructure• Manage the vendors for Fusion IT Infrastructure• Maintain an awareness of new and emerging technologies which warrant consideration for Fusion’s use and make  recommendations for changes as warranted – including the business case cross functional collaboration on technology  requirements• Participate in the development and evolution of Fusion’s SOC 2 control matrix and manage the relevant aspects of IT operations to ensure SOC 2 compliance• Support the Fusion Information Security Management Program by managing the relevant IT components to ensure compliance

                                

 

 

Requirements

• College degree or experience in lieu of degree

• 5 years of experience in similar roles

• Oriented towards precision execution with meticulous attention to detail

• Excellent written and oral skills

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

• Strong project manager, capable of juggling multiple projects, meeting deadlines and proactively communicating status updates
