We are looking to hire a Director of Information Technology to lead and manage our business systems as we continue to scale and grow as a globally distributed team. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning in ways that help us achieve our dual missions sustainably. This role reports to the Chief of Staff.

Responsibilities:

The Director of IT will be responsible for the following areas: 

  • Acting as a player-coach, stepping in to support IT projects and lead high-performing team, coaching and mentoring IT Engineers to set them up for long-term success
  • Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify and address business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
  • Develop IT strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
  • Plan and direct new hardware and software deployments
  • Develop IT strategy and protect sensitive data, systems, and applications from external threats
  • Support the technology stack to maintain uptime/SLA goals for Cribl
  • Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and hire, develop, and lead a team of IT professionals
  • Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget 


Qualifications:

  • Experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
  • Significant leadership, decision-making, and project management skills at both technology and/or B2B startup and large, sophisticated company environments
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, globally distributed, and changing environment that enables you to juggle many types of projects at once, from an enterprise business applications technical project you may lead yourself to the project managing of cross-functional teams to deliver on a new asset management process
  • Deep knowledge of allied teams and function and how to partner effectively with them (e.g., People (HR), Engineering, Security, etc.)
  • Experienced with relevant tools and systems such as Google Workplace, OKTA, as well as cloud services such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
