Our company is growing so we’re looking for an experienced Director of Operations to ensure it continues to grow in an intentional, efficient way. Project management, cross-departmental communication, resource allocation, budgeting, and team management are a few of the major reasons this role is so crucial. In the near-term, we’ll rely on you to oversee large, cross-department initiatives that will require relationship building, organization, planning, and holding teams accountable for progress. As you grow in this role, you’ll be working closely with senior leadership and our executive team to set and achieve major company priorities.

The Role, along with everything you’d expect 

  • The Director of Operations will work very closely with our COO and leadership team, having influence on and accountability for important company priorities and key results
  • When the time comes, you’ll build out and manage the project management team
  • Learn about and evaluate internal processes and procedures, recommending changes or additions when necessary, and gaining buy-in to implement
  • Ensure the day-to-day running of the business is efficient, productive, and supportive of our values and culture
  • The role is a great fit for candidates who enjoy putting their project management skills to use on interesting, cross-departmental, and cutting edge initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5-7 years in operations roles. We need someone experienced who can bring past experiences to positively impact our company. If your background is mostly project management, let’s still talk
  • Experience project managing cross-department initiatives is a must. We’re looking forward to hearing all about your successes and lessons learned
  • Previous experience managing a team. We believe in the well-being of our team, so capable leaders are essential
  • Smart and approachable. Our entire company will rely on you for aspects of different projects, and we're team players. Establishing a great rapport is one of the most important aspects of the role
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives and communicate clearly across the company. Communication is key, especially where there’s a lot going on, and that includes delivering and seeking out needed information
  • Experience working with project management tools like Trello or Monday.com is a plus
  • Strategic, future state planning, as well as budgeting experience are also nice to haves. Call them out if you’ve got it, and no worries if you don’t
