About the role
Civis Analytics is seeking a highly-organized, detail-oriented events coordinator to join its team. In this role you will project manage all the moving pieces involved in successful attendance at trade shows/events including: booth design and set-up; management of A/V and labor vendors; coordination of marketing collateral and other event swag; staffing and travel. This person will also run a detailed calendar of company events, with oversight from the Head of PR and Events.

Responsibilities
- Effectively coordinate multiple events simultaneously including planning, logistics, and implementation
- Collaborate with vendors and members of the sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure necessary deliverables are completed on time
- Problem solve in situations where unforeseen circumstances arise at the last minute
- Ensure Civis attendees have everything they need to be successful at each event
- Up to 30% domestic travel may be required
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple, contending priorities
- Excels at project management, developing schedules, task/people assignments, anticipates and adjusts for opportunities, problems and roadblocks
- Self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Experience at a technology company or start-up preferred but not required
- 1-3 years experience in event production and/or coordination
- BA/BS required
