Role Description:

Manage daily load boards and take responsibility for ensuring that loads are serviced properly by calling carriers for power, getting flexibility, or covering loads as needed. Ensure loads are tracked and updated in timely manner. Manage and create communication between internal sales staff, and stake holders. Identify potential problems and come up with appropriate solutions; escalate as needed. React with a sense of urgency to solve problems and cover bounces. Prioritize and respond to both internal and external requests in under 90 minutes. Effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Understand market trends and industry standards.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree desired, however comparable experience will be considered.
• 1 year of Intermodal Operations/Freight experience required
• Clear, effective and professional communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Adaptability, multi-tasking ability and sense of urgency.
• Problem solving, resolution skills, proactive diligence

Compensation:

• Annual salary beginning at $40,000
