We are looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially-minded, impact-driven person to lead our Cleantech and Sustainability Solutions Service Line. This person will be responsible for developing and incubating a portfolio of services that leverage digital technology to address clients’ sustainability goals. They will also be responsible for working with our existing business development teams to create adoption of these services with new and existing clients, in a commercially successful and sustainable manner.  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Own the vision for the Cleantech & Sustainability Solutions Service Line with concrete commercial opportunities to build solutions for our clients.
  • Build relationships with clients in technology and sustainability leadership positions at new and existing clients to deliver solutions that meet their goals.
  • Build partnerships with other service line leaders and sales teams to identify ways to expand the value proposition of our services and to co-sell.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy and associated materials such as case studies, value proposition decks, one pagers, and commercial engagement models including team staffing and pricing.
  • Engage TWers across development, design, data and other disciplines with relevant capabilities and interests to participate in service line activities, such as defining necessary skills for technology practitioners and selling and delivering client engagements 
  • Lead from the front in key Cleantech & Sustainability engagements, including building and maintaining key client relationships, setting up new engagements,  being a strategic client advisor and/or as an extended CLT member.
  • Manage the Service Line team members to agreed KPI’s and commercial goals including revenue growth, utilization and profitability targets. 

Required Experience:

  • Experience in the cleantech and sustainability domain and understanding of corporate sustainability trends, market drivers and product space.
  • Experience working with software development teams and cross functional disciplines/roles such as development, design, testing, data science and product management. 
  • Experience in consulting leadership, business development or other positions involved in winning and building clients.

Desired Experience: 

  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive a program or portfolio of work and collaborate across multiple functions eg. across sales, marketing, legal/compliance, capability/learning and technology delivery. 
  • Experience owning outcomes and managing to metrics / KPIs / OKRs including revenue, profit margins and customer engagement/conversion. 
  • Ability to facilitate and drive executive level leadership discussions and workshops. 
  • Ability to give clear and compelling presentations.   
  • Experience leading and managing teams

A few important things to know:While we’ve traditionally been a traveling consultancy, travel is not required for this role at the moment. We anticipate the need for travel to our client locations in the future when it’s deemed safe.
