ThinkMarkets is seeking a Head of Corporate Training to join our rapidly growing global workforce based in Chicago!

 

In this role, you will be working in collaboration with the broader management team and driving corporate learning and development (L&D) strategy which includes the creation and implementation of end-to-end learning interventions that utilize a variety of pedagogical approaches and a blend of external and internal partners. 

 You will work closely alongside internal stakeholders to help identify skill gaps, new strategies, and geographic differences to build meaningful learning programs and ensure run effective results. Using your experience, you will play a pivotal role in the overall measurement and success of our L&D initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop targeted and relevant L&D strategies to drive development, foster growth, and nurture continuous learning
  • Schedule and conduct appropriate training sessions (including but not limited to seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and group training sessions) for our global staff
  • Work in partnership with the management and leadership teams to identify specific training needs across all departments
  • Continuously monitor and review ThinkMarkets’ learning standards to ensure they are relevant, innovative, and forward-thinking
  • Develop data-driven metrics to evaluate short and long-term effectiveness of our global learning programs
  • Ensure all training is aligned with wider business strategy, as well as any regional HR/Learning initiatives
  • Define and monitor global training budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of T&D initiatives

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Business related major
  • 5+ years of experience fulfilling a senior corporate training role within Securities, Capital Markets, Investment and/or Commercial Banking is a must
  • In-depth understanding of transactional and operational workflow for all Margin, FX, Cash Equities, Fixed Income, and Capital Market’s business
  • Experience in a senior level position with responsibility for direct reports
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying successful corporate training strategies that supported wider organizational goals and implementing new processes and systems
  • Explicit experience in building compelling training materials while utilizing both in-house resources and third-party providers
  • Ability to navigate the complex issues of a rapidly scaling organization and build a case for continued investment in Learning & Development programs
  • Ability to plan and evaluate training strategies in terms of resources, inter-dependencies, and risks mitigation
  • Must be highly adaptable to change and able to easily navigate between high level strategy and roll-up-sleeves execution
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated abilities to communicate effectively in writing as well as verbally with all levels of staff
