Our Agency is a large group of in-house creative and operations professionals who support all of Groupon’s branded creative marketing and merchandising needs globally. We work to create a brand people engage with and get excited about for both customers and our clients across the company, through visual design, content marketing, and photos and videos from our in-house studio.
Groupon is seeking a Head of Creative Services to lead our 50+ person team working on creative globally for both our Groupon and LivingSocial brands. You will lead our creative teams, studio, digital asset management, client management and project management teams as we transform our marketing to increase personalization, customer engagement and excitement across all touchpoints.
You’ll spend time on the following:
Developing, creating, and implementing a dynamic and unique global brand identity that sets Groupon apart
You will lead and inspire our internal creative, production, account management, project management and digital asset management teams to develop creative that enhances Groupon’s reputation in the marketplace
You will translate marketing, creative, and strategic objectives into branded assets that drive engagement and transactions
You will build a clear creative vision and lead large-scale projects across multi-platform experiences
Develop ideas and drive them to execution while partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, Editorial and Brand teams to understand the objectives, creative direction, and target audiences
You will ensure the creative material produced is of the highest quality and represents a consistent brand image, message, and tone throughout
We’re excited about you if you have:
15+ years of digital creative experience focused on direct response marketing
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
7+ years of experience in a creative leadership role building large scale and high performing teams (this team is 50+) across both creative and creative operational teams and 5+ years working on large scale commerce focused on email/web/mobile sites
You have a combination of agency and in-house experience (strongly preferred)
Significant consumer focused experience with proven ability to lead teams to breakthrough the clutter of digital marketing
Expert knowledge of how to create and deploy copy, design, content, image creation and video across websites, mobile apps, email, push notifications, SEO and digital marketing
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to resolve complex issues in creative ways
Ability to provide clear direction and articulate vision to all levels within the organization
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with shifting objectives
