Amount is looking for an Incident Response Manager to lead our Production Engineering team. The team is responsible for executing the incident response process as incidents occur as well as improving the process to better serve the needs of Amount’s external clients and internal teams. This includes communicating to clients (we use Atlassian Statuspage), managing on-call rotations and escalation policies (currently in Pagerduty), coordinating and delivering the Post-mortem report, and tracking the remediation items.


Production Engineering are also the gatekeepers to production data and manage and monitor application releases. The ideal candidate is very process-oriented, a strong people manager, and has experience leading and evolving an incident response program. 

What you'll work on:

  • Lead the Production Engineering (Incident Response) team - manage the day-to-day execution and provide strategic direction
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to execute and iterate on the incident response process
  • Execute and evolve the application release process including post-release monitoring and validation
  • Manage the Production Support process and ticket desk
  • Get hands on with tools and technologies including Pagerduty, Sentry, Datadog, Statuspage, and Confluence
  • Be a part of a strong culture of ownership, pragmatism, and continuous improvement

Who you are:

  • Prior experience developing and executing and Incident Response process, (incidents software based experience preferred) 
  • 3+ years experience managing people, ideally in an Incident Response context
  • Application software background highly preferred
  • Release management and/or production support experience
  • You’re entrepreneurial, self-driven, and you take pride in improving operational processes
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts and enjoys working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
