Position Overview:

The Senior Inventory Analyst role is a great new opportunity in Catch Company that is integral to support our main businesses. The Senior Analyst will work closely with operations, customer support, business development and brand teams and will be critical to our mission to provide customers with the best shopping experience in the fishing industry.

What you will do:

  • Analyze and reconcile inventory needs across our three businesses (Mystery Tackle Box, Karl’s Bait & Tackle, owned brands)
    • Develop a demand planning system that will capture all forecasts from businesses and allocate inventory accordingly
    • Monitor incoming inventory and report and resolve product shortages
    • Actualize and investigate inventory status changes
  • Track, create and manage key inventory performance indicators
  • Own project management of external vendor onboardings and being the point of contact for vendor issues
  • Developing processes, procedures and training to ensure inventory and planning systems are consistent

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of data, ecommerce, B2B and/or inventory management experience
  • Experience in offshore sourcing highly preferred
  • Analytical, comfort with large datasets and challenging assumptions
  • Experience in Excel required (able to analyze large datasets, use index-match and pivot tables)
  • Track record of being very organized, detail oriented, and balancing multiple priorities
  • Experience working with multiple teams and being able to communicate effectively
  • Strong ability to problem solve independently

Our HQ and engineering lab are located in Chicago's trendy West Loop neighborhood, but our culture is now remote-first. With the exception of our industrial designers, we have a fully distributed team across the United States!
