Job Description

IT Business Analyst candidate is responsible for partnering with IT/Finance stakeholders to understand business strategy and translate into solution requirements. As part of the Information Technology team, you will work on new technologies to solve complex problems and find optimal solutions. 

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

• Collaborate with finance business partners to address business problems and provide scalable solutions by leveraging Oracle e-Business Suite technology platform 

• Represent IT applications team in a variety of initiatives (incl. new product introduction, e-commerce and Subscription management)

• Partner with business stakeholders and users to understand current Order to cash flow and digitize/ automate impediments through technology or business process changes to improve operational KPIs

• Design and support customer facing IT processes (Credit Check, Payment channels, Invoice distribution) as a part of transformational initiatives

• Work with regional finance leads to design, develop and support region specific statutory requirements for countries

• Responsible for finance features backlog grooming, cross track prioritization and delivery to production environment

• Create/maintain functional specification documents, review technical specification documents, oracle standard/ custom configurations documents, rollout strategies, end to end business flows, test scenarios and perform/ support end to end testing for business partners

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills

• Master’s degree preferred

• CPA or Accounting certification/degree with knowledge of financial accounting

• Experience with SQL/ PLSQL languages

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development

• Ability to build relationships, influence key decision-makers, and collaborate on a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience

• Highly coachable, eager to learn, energized by learning opportunities in a company

• Able to work independently and work closely with different key finance business partners

• Excellent communication skills, detail oriented and a self-starter
