Responsibilities

The Business Analyst for the Advanced Analytics and Consulting Service Line will report into the IT Business Partner. In this role, we are looking for someone who can “ask the right questions”, get the right parties involved, and partner successfully with our Analytics service Line to enable and support their capabilities and service offerings.

The Business Analyst will:

• Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions 
• Assist with the business case and/or customer proposal activities
• Assist with development of cost/benefit analysis
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
• Serve as a liaison between service line stakeholders and technology
• Manage competing resources and priorities
• Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects/initiatives

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience related to Business Analyst or Technical Analyst within an IT technology environment, required
• Excellent team player and team builder
• Complete system/big picture thinker 
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and time-sensitive work environment with changing priorities
• Ability to understand technical topics (Big data, Data Ingestion, Data Preparation, Cloud based technologies, system engineering)
• Familiarity with foundational Analytic, Predictive Analytic and Data Visualization concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
• Excel at operating in a fast-paced technical environment
• Experience with planning and project management
• Industry experience in supply chain or logistics is a plus
