FourKites is excited to hire our first IT Manager who will be responsible for driving processes in our Global IT infrastructure, from overall IT management and support in our Chicago headquarters to delivering internal and external customer requirements, and meeting the company’s objectives. This will involve working closely with the executive team to ensure all IT needs are met.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Define best practices and standards that will improve efficiency
• Obtain a thorough understanding of the business and its processes
• Conduct Quarterly Systems Audit, Compliance Audits and assess IT controls and processes across the enterprise
• Manage Okta and SAML integrations with cloud based business platforms
• Negotiate contracts with key vendors related to the businesses IT needs
• Lead regular security and data training for all employees
• Manage all equipment inventory (laptops, data cables, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and manage tech support for employees
• Manage company video conferencing, phone systems, screen sharing tools, etc.
• Prevent cybercrime, protect data and reduce security risk
• Proficient with PC and Mac devices
• Work with executive management and make practical and value added recommendations
• Perform ad-hoc projects, including projects with specific timelines as assigned by executive management

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years working for a tech or saas based company
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, strategic, organization and technology skills
• Business acumen and ability to negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization
• Process oriented and results driven
• Experience working with a global organization
• Hands-on and able to work independently on projects with limited supervision while demonstrating excellent project management capabilities

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business or related field
• Certified technology specialist
• Experience in scaled best practices
• Practical understanding, experience and knowledge in IT
• Experience with cloud based tools
