Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our healthcare organization's IT infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HITRUST certification and HIPAA compliance requirements, as well as a strong background in corporate IT responsibilities like access and identity management, equipment control, and system administration. The IT Manager work closely with other departments to ensure that our technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and meets the needs of our organization.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with HITRUST certification and HIPAA regulations
• Oversee access and identity management, equipment control, and system administration activities to ensure that our technology infrastructure is secure and reliable
• Lead the IT team in identifying and resolving technical issues, including network connectivity, software and hardware problems, and cybersecurity threats
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to ensure that our technology solutions are cost-effective and meet our business needs
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and develop solutions to support business operations
• Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
• Ensure that all IT-related activities, documentation, and reporting are in compliance with internal policies and external regulations

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in the healthcare industry
• 5+ years in developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT systems
• 5+ years working with departmental heads to identify and implement IT solutions that support business operations
• Strong technical skills in access and identity management, equipment control, and system administration
• Experience working with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of critical software products 
• Deep understanding of HITRUST certification and HIPAA compliance requirements
• Strong analytic and data-driven decision-making skills with experience in SQL, statistical modeling, or similar data analysis tools
• Excellent written, verbal and oral presentation skills
• Work from anywhere, but be available via Slack and video conferencing

Bonus If You Have It

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in change management within a regulated environment (e.g. medical device)
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud/High Availability testing

Salary Range: $60,000 - $120,000 Annual.
