This position is to fill the role of lead IT support staff at the facility which houses and produces our Live Video Stream. The primary work will be to manage, maintain, migrate, and organize the IT operations at this site. Networking experience and knowledge is a prime requirement, but the work can evolve into a broader set of responsibilities over time to cover the Video Production technology depending on experience and proficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary site IT Engineer (Networking, Systems Admin, Production (video/audio) Tech, End User systems)
- Act as a Liaison between the Business and Production Teams and the Organization's Tech and Development Team
- Act as a Liaison between our Core Development/IT team (we build our own software) and the Business Teams
- Assist in building, design, implementation and coordination for upgrades, installations and other IT system development
- Assist in security operations, processes and rollout of those functions within the organization
- Assist the primary Facilities manager, Production Lead and other important roles within the organization as appropriate.
Prerequisites
- Network Engineering, Support and Troubleshooting skills are required
- Ability to learn new and unfamiliar technologies quickly, as required
- Ability to work well as a team player
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as required
- Good communication skills, Organizational skills, Documentation skills and Interpersonal skills
