IT Support Administrator (6 Month Contract)
IT Support owns the global digital employee experience at cleverbridge from tools (e.g. email, phone, Zoom) and hardware (e.g. laptops, conference rooms, printers) to how we work together (e.g. remote work, mobile devices, collaboration tools). Our primary goal is putting technology needs of employees first in order to support our employees around the globe in doing great work.
As an IT Support Administrator at cleverbridge, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to your fellow co-workers; our 300 employees across all locations in North America, Europe, Taiwan, and Japan. Through your daily actions, you will elevate our internal IT experience and be a strong supporter of the overall success we achieve. This position involves frequent troubleshooting, proactive thinking, and a service-oriented attitude.
This is a six-month contract position with a possibility to convert to fulltime at the end of the contract. This position is located in Chicago reporting to the Director, IT Support.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office products, and any other authorized desktop application
- Configure vlans and ports on Extreme network switches
- Maintain user & computer account management within Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange Online, VOIP, & VPN systems
- Use KACE Software and Deployment Appliance to maintain and deploy images, applications, and updates
- Responsible for tracking hardware, software, and license inventory
- Daily responsibility of solving tickets, issues, and problems assigned to the helpdesk system
- Assist with migration and post-migration tasks for Microsoft O365 products
- Take ownership for assigned incidents and problems, and contact required resources both inside and outside the company necessary to resolve the problem
- Work independently and be proactive in recommending improvements in procedures that will increase the efficiency in regards to IT related technical issues and processes
Skills/Requirements
- Working knowledge of Linux command line tools
- Working knowledge and usage of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
- Minimum 1 year experience in administration and deployment of Microsoft 365 services and productivity suite of tools
- Minimum 1 year experience in automated deployments using KACE or similar platform
- Experience in automating repetitive tasks and hands-off maintenance
- Excellent technical knowledge of PCs, Apple, and desktop hardware
- Process orientation, innovative thinking and acting
- Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities appropriately
