IT Support Technician

We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology (IT) team working in a dynamic environment of different technology platforms. The Technician will work daily to provide customer support to our end users ensuring they can maximize their productivity with our technology. Support interactions will be mostly in person, but also via phone and instant message.
This position is located at our office in downtown Chicago at 300 W. Adams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide computer hardware and software support for local and remote end users
- Responsible for computer software installation and upgrades
- Install, support, and repair computer hardware including PC’s, Apple Mac’s, and printers
- Create proper documentation to ensure efficient operations and supportibility of Vibes technology
- Resolve password log in, network connectivity, VPN connection, printing problems, and basic hardware and application issues
- Assist with IT and Infrastructure project work
- Other responsibilities as required
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of computer repair experience of Apple computers and be must be proficient with hardware problem diagnostic tools, resolution and repairs
- Experience and working knowledge of corporate Audio/Video equipment configuration and maintenance
- Working knowledge of business telephone systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for PC and Apple OSX.
- Working knowledge of common business applications like Office365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Box, Slack, and Zoom.
- Proficient in Apple OSX operating system imaging and maintaining a corporate laptop build
- JAMF software knowledge a plus
- Must be organized, motivated and detail-oriented
- Must be able to juggle multiple projects, prioritize workload, and work well under deadlines
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Professional, reliable, driven and results-oriented
- Wi-Fi, TCP/IP network troubleshooting skills would be a plus
