Job Description
Seeking a technical lead with experience in deploying master data solutions using Oracle on premise or Oracle cloud applications. The Master Data Management (MDM) Technical Lead is an Information Architect (IA) responsible for applying MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the company’s vision, and supporting an MDM implementation on Oracle Cloud platform. The candidate should be able to design and develop the information architecture for a robust MDM platform that matches and consolidates key data subject areas in a manner that is aligned to the company’s strategic vision.

Understand software engineering best practices and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, or criteria for work.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for overall MDM application architecture.
Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of a MDM platform.
Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows that can be deployed in the endorsed MDM tool.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture teams (data integration, data architecture, business intelligence) to develop and deliver MDM solutions.
Conduct effective technical reviews of Data Pipelines to ensure quality of Information delivery.
Mentor and Coach junior team members on data management & data services best practices.
Lead master data development, data quality, data model, and collaborate with cross functional teams comprised of client groups, project teams and IT organizations.
Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of master data.
Lead configuration of processes and approval workflows for Master records to be created or changed, according to the different areas of responsibilities and business functions.
Define artifacts for the review of completeness and consistency of the Master Data, and audit to ensure compliance with defined financial, analytical and process requirements.
Create quality documentation (Business Process documents, process flows, policies and procedures, strategies, etc.).
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions.
Experience with enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data focused systems integration solutions.
Comfort working in an agile development lifecycle and tools such as Jira Rally, and Trello
This role can be remote anywhere in the US, but the preference is Illinois.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years relevant work experience, with 5+ years’ experience in master data management.
