Information Technology Operations Manager

We’re looking for a technology leader with experience in transformational change to take our IT Operations team to the next level. As an IT Operations leader you will coach, mentor, and upskill a team of outstanding IT Specialists. We’re looking for a leader who can automate manual processes, is enthusiastic about building teams, passionate about analytics, and has an obsession for the customer.

Our IT Operations team resides within Engineering and is responsible for solving complex problems with technology and is expected to question the status quo. The team supports a robust engineering team, customer service, claims, and various business units.

This role is expected to operate as a player/coach, interfacing with business leaders while providing vital membership to the team.

Technical Skills

• Experience with an MDM such as Jamf or Intune - Root is a mixed environment of MacOS and Windows
• Understands administration of an ITSM and/or ITAM such as ServiceNow
• Incorporates testing and thinks about reliability as a natural part of delivering solutions
• Awareness of a multitude of corporate technologies such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Zoom
• Experience troubleshooting client OS issues in a Windows and MacOS environment
• Able to design and architect maintainable technology solutions
