We are currently seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for security initiatives and provide risk assessment. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of cloud infrastructure and is passionate about network security. If this sounds like you and your next career move, then we would love to hear from you.

What your day could consist of:

• Develop, schedule, and execute automated security audits on infrastructure using industry standard security frameworks and tooling
• Lead security related audits such as SOC2
• Remediate and write post-mortem reports on security-related issues
• Document security procedures and policies
• Drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines
• Troubleshoot issues across hardware and network infrastructure
• Document, design and develop intrusion detection tools to proactively monitor and alert on anomalous activity
• Design and work with Infrastructure team to develop response systems to protect infrastructure from intruders
• Design security best practices and procedures

What is needed:

• Minimum of 5 years of Linux/UNIX systems engineer & administrator experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant web application security experience
• Experience with incident response
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, VLAN, IPv4/IPv6, ARP, DHCP, DNS, and TCP
• Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF
• Extensive AWS experience
• Experience with Cisco Meraki firewalls
• Automation experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet are nice to have
