Ascent helps its customers follow laws and regulations. We are a new type of company, a “RegTech” organization that combines a SaaS platform with intelligent content to provide customized tools and targeted advice for our customers. We’re using modern techniques like machine learning and predictive analytics to stay on the cutting edge of our industry.
The Ascent platform makes it easy for compliance officers in regulated industries to see exactly what is expected of their companies, then track and report on the steps they’re taking to stay compliant. The efficient intelligence we provide helps our customers fulfill their obligations in a way that lets them breathe easy and focus on creating value for their own customers through their core business.
As we grow rapidly, we need an Office Manager to help us create and maintain the best working environment possible. This role is a high-growth, high-responsibility role focused on both the day-to-day running of our office, as well as longer-term projects to help everyone at Ascent feel happy, welcome, and productive.

Your expected contributions to the team
- Develop organizational procedures and systems for entire office
- Assist new hires and current employee/vendor management with onboarding and ongoing human resources requirements
- Provide general support to all visitors, clients, and vendors
- Make sure our office is stocked, and is an ideal work environment
- Maintain office supplies/food and drinks for the office and meetings scheduled in conference rooms
- Maintain the aesthetic integrity of the office, conference rooms, and kitchen
- Plan fun and engaging office events and team building activities
What we expect you to bring to the table
- Self-starter with a demonstrated history of creating initiatives to improve the culture of an organization
- High integrity and excellent customer service skills
- Proactive, positive, personable, and punctual
