As the Operations Lead, you’ll be responsible for bringing that vision to life through the execution of backend logistics for our day-to-day processes. 

The Objectives You’re Here To Meet

  • Build trust with partners, families and team members with diligent attention to detail and accuracy in operational execution. 

  • Ensure that The Brainchild Collective is operationally efficient by optimizing areas to streamline processes, exploring new technologies and minimizing redundancies. 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through warm, honest and timely communication with our community of stakeholders. 

How You’ll Meet Those Objectives

  • Communicating with clients and partners including being timely in answering phones, responding to parent and client inquiries and overseeing online registration for classes. 

  • Ensuring that data is input accurately across all platforms by maintaining program databases.

  • Executing instructor onboarding and oversight through HR practices (contract execution, database updates, tech sharing),  accounts payable, and calendar/schedule management. 

  • Managing accounts receivable processes with external partners 

  • Managing semi-annual community showcases including parent and instructor communication, ordering supplies and day-of logistics.

  • Creating project management timelines and tasks. 

  • Effectively communicating relevant details regarding programs in a timely fashion resulting in clarity and efficiency. 

What We’re Looking For In This Role

  • An energetic executor with a reputation for and a genuine sense of satisfaction in supporting teams through task-oriented, detail-dependent work. 

  • Availability to work at our Streeterville office during regular work hours (9am - 5pm) on weekdays. 

  • An individual with extensive experience using Google Apps and an aptitude for learning new technologies to increase efficiency. The Brainchild Collective uses Airtable, Asana, Sawyer and Squarespace to manage our operations.  Experience in these platforms is a plus. 

  • An expert in follow-through, demonstrating effective prioritization of tasks, accuracy in work product and attention to key deadlines.

  • Hard administrative skills and at least two years experience providing organizational or project support through the execution of operational tasks.

Design Dance programming is designed to build social-emotional skills in students through the creative art of dance. All of our classes are student-driven, empowering young artists to build creative confidence through the exploration of individual and group work. Each program highlights the many valuable SEL skills generated through arts education, including but not limited to, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills, self management, and responsible decision-making.
