The Role:

The Business Operations Manager is a technical strategist, constantly iterating, innovating, and improving performance management to meet the needs of NowPow’s Community Resources Department, which is tasked with building and maintaining our industry-leading data asset. This position servers as an in-house consultant for CR, relying on a deep analytical tool box to assist in resource planning and scheduling, monitoring metrics attainment and quality standards, and working with other departments to stand up processes for analyzing and responding to customer requests. The Ops Manager will be fluent in data and analytics and should comfortable at communicating their findings and recommendations to executive-level audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Senior Manager of Community Resources, own the Master Schedule process for long-term and weekly scheduling, as well as optimize the design and functionality of the Master Schedule to better meet the needs of the CR department
  • Work with Analytics and QA to produce metrics and quality reports used for weekly departmental management
  • Provide CR leadership with trends and insights related to build / update and QA performance
  • Own the process and delegation of work related to customer requests and special tickets
  • Provide analytical and project management supports for cross-functional initiatives
  • Execute special projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a fast-moving startup or tech company environment or in consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or Big4 accounting
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organization, decision making, and analytical skills
  • Advanced experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (and/or Google equivalents)
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented disposition required
  • Self-starter, innovator, results-driven with ability to meet both short-term and long-term goals
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to uncertainty
