Tall Ridge (www.tallridge.com) is a full-service digital marketing agency focused on helping brands like Hydro Flask, Boll & Branch and Gerber Gear succeed on Amazon and other online marketplaces.

Office Designs (www.officedesigns.com) is an e-commerce business focused on offering high-end ergonomic seating, modern office furniture, and office décor products to small and mid-size businesses. Full-service offerings include design and layout services, curated product offering and installation. Because of our capabilities, we are selectively authorized to offer high-quality brands such as Herman Miller, Steelcase, Humanscale, and Haworth.

Key Functions

• Lead the company’s operations, including our Northbrook warehouse and offsite 3PL partner
• Own and take responsibility for all processes, functions, and people within the warehouse department
  • Coach and grow department personnel
  • Implement, improve and sustain all standard operating procedures
  • Establish company-wide operational key performance indicators (KPI) and monitor achievement of KPIs
  • Maintain accurate inventory
  • Oversee kitting, assembly, receiving and outbound B2B and B2C shipping
• Drive logistics and transportation strategy for the organization
  • Implement WMS that improves efficiency
  • Identify and execute improvement that creates efficiency gains and cost savings for the organization
  • Improve warehouse organization, design and layout
  • Negotiate and maintain key vendor relationships, including
    • Transportation
    • Warehouse and building supplies
• Manage the organization’s 3PL relationship
  • Day to day point of contact for all 3PL partner issues
  • Ensure proper cost and inventory management

Requirements

• Very motivated to constantly improve themselves and others around them
• Process oriented
• Organizational and interpersonal skills are extremely important
• Strong operational aptitude
• Experience across multiple ERP and WMS systems (NetSuite a plus)
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 7+ years of warehouse leadership experience
• Proficient in Excel and Word
