What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for a diverse range of duties under the umbrella of Portfolio Management which includes the monitoring, oversight and maintenance of the Commercial Real Estate Lending book. The incumbent is expected to engage with the broader Commercial Lending Department as well as ALM, Credit Risk, Legal, Accounting, Loan Trading Desk and Technology. Resources to do the job require the ability to be extremely organized, detail- oriented, skilled at multi -tasking, proactive, analytically inclined, a great communicator, self-motivated and have a keen interest in learning all aspects of commercial real estate lending. General direction is received from the Supervisor, Servicing & Portfolio Management.
Responsibilities

- Promote and enhance a risk-aware culture by adhering to established standards and regulatory requirements
- Perform annual asset and borrower reviews for Commercial Real Estate portfolio.
- Perform portfolio surveillance and early risk detection
- Maintain Commercial Real Estate Lending's database with current property and borrower information
- Provide timely and accurate reporting as requested
- Supply regulators and auditors with requisite loan and portfolio level information
- Assist in the execution of participations and loan sales
- Assist Supervisor, Portfolio Management to design and execute process efficiencies and automation across the Commercial Real Estate Lending platform
- Support the Manager, Portfolio Risk and Operations and the Manager, Originations in communicating initiatives, developing roadmaps and implementing improvements
- Determine stakeholders and groups impacted by projects and communicate objectives while determining stakeholder requirements
- Create project timelines and report near and long-term actionable items
- Participate in special projects as assigned
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintain integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Qualifications
What makes you a great fit?
You'll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor's in business or related field, required, and you have:
- General training and/or exposure to banking, financial sector, commercial real estate or an equivalent combination of training and education, preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong team player with demonstrated initiative
- Excellent customer service skills and focus
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strategic thinker with proven analytical ability and has strong attention to detail
