Role: Production Manager

What we’re looking for:

As the leader of our Chicago operations team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to run and grow a game-changing fulfillment engine. You will have responsibility over our day-to-day production, ensuring part quality, on-time delivery, and cost management. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our daily manufacturing cadence. You’ll be collaborating with everyone across our organization to exceed customer expectations. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day production across our Chicago facility
• Production scheduling and capacity planning
• Manufacturability assessments
• Inventory management
• Production team management
• Machine maintenance and upkeep 
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Support on-boarding of production orders for our customers, including PPAP and related processes
• Own product quality and adherence to our AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 standards

Requirements:

• You understand lean principles and how to drive a results-oriented, standard-work culture
• You have the ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• You have excellent communication skills
• You have experience with ERP and related IT systems
• You have led teams in a production environment, balancing cost, quality, and delivery for optimal customer outcomes
• Background in statistical process control, additive manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related a plus
