Project Lab Assistant
Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Project Lab Assistant itching to get their hands dirty, dive into making stuff work, and support our development efforts. Our ideal candidate is able to dedicate at least 15-20 hours a week working at our lab space in Downers Grove, IL. This is a great opportunity for a college student or recent graduate!
What you will do:
- Assist our Design Engineer with a variety of projects and prototyping.
- Review incoming product development samples & mass production samples.
- Prepare sample shipments for product testers.
- Keep incoming and reviewed samples organized.
- Own documentation for sample reviews, testing, and workshops.
- Assist with running & cleaning/post processing 3D prints.
- Assist with injection molding prototypes.
- Work on mock-ups and prototypes as needed.
- General cleaning/organizing of our Project Lab.
What experience you need:
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar program.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to create and maintain organizational work-flows.
- Familiarity with basic workshops tools.
What will make you successful:
- Familiarity with Solidworks a major plus.
- Familiarity with 3D printers a major plus.
- Familiarity with Adobe CC a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Suite of applications a plus.
- Familiarity with Monday.com a plus.
- Fishing experience a plus, but not necessary.
- Loving the outdoors is a good thing too.
- Sense of humor.
- Being comfortable being uncomfortable.
