Provider Relationship Specialist, Vendor Management Office (VMO)
An integral part of the VMO, the Provider Relationship Manager Specialist is responsible to support their team to help ensure McDonald’s Global Technology’s strategic providers are meeting/exceeding the performance levels specified in their respective contracts. They also manage the overall relationship for a sub-set of our provider portfolio; those providing commodity products and services to McDonald’s. In doing so, they assure the delivery of intended value from the provider relationship(s) they manage.
· 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in IT/Technology related provider management
· Project management experience on large-scale hardware / software rollouts
· Good conceptual and creative thinking with ability to communicate complex issues and information to all levels of the organization
· Self-driven, detail oriented individual who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results
· Ability to work in a global fast-paced and agile environment
· Adapts to changes in priorities with ease and comfortable working “in the gray”
· Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
· Team-oriented, collaborative leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional colleagues and provider teams
· Demonstrated and strong ability to remain focused under pressure
· Adaptable and flexible while working in a busy global team
· Willingness to travel as required – 10%
· Bachelor’s Degree is required in IT or related discipline
· Help establish new and optimize existing provider relationships to ensure the successful delivery of Global Technology’s initiatives to McDonald’s · Support our Provider Relationship Managers in working with McDonald’s business units, Global Sourcing, and Legal partner teams · Help facilitate the execution of Customer Satisfaction Surveys · Help implement VMO training initiatives for both our internal team and external business partners · Report VMO processes and performance reporting to the applicable governance bodies Other Key Responsibilities: · Provider Data Analysis & Reporting – Support our Provider Relationship Managers in analyzing provider performance and financial data · Process Mapping and Design – Help facilitate VMO process enhancements and standardization · Presentation Support – Assist team in creating VMO presentation documents (Business Reviews, Stakeholder Presentations, etc.) · Provider Contract Changes – Support team members in executing contractual changes with engagement from key stakeholders · Provider Performance Scorecard - Assist in the development, facilitation, and reporting of the provider performance · Provider Performance Issue Resolution/Mitigation – Help team in resolving chronic, systemic and/or critical contract or performance issues/disputes · Stakeholder Communications – Support VMO to ensure McDonald’s stakeholders understand our contractual obligations and monitoring our compliance to them
