Salesforce Administrator
Summary of Position
The Salesforce.com System Administrator is responsible for implementing CRM best practices, working with the development team to perform minor configuration and workflow changes, and providing ongoing support to end users. This position must be self-sufficient with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment and must also be a team player who is highly collaborative in nature.
General Responsibilities
- Respond to issues, change requests, and other system administrative needs of Salesforce.com end users
- Responsible for system upgrades, releases, and change control processes
- Collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into Salesforce.com features, functionality, and processes
- Configure custom fields, field settings, dashboards, views, and reports in Salesforce.com’s day-to-day intake of new requests
- Troubleshoot workflows, approval cycles, or auto-responders that generate excessive bounced emails
- Expand or refine sharing rules and access privileges so records can be properly viewed and Echo’s security model is adhered to
- Assist with quality assurance tasks during software release cycles
- Perform regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
- Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
- Assist in developing and maintaining training materials and curriculum
- Document system configuration and administrative processes
- Work with external vendors as needed to troubleshoot user issues (FormAssembly, DnB, etc)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience as a SFDC System Administrator (Sales and Service Cloud; Marketing cloud and/or Pardot experience preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working with a Sales or IT team managing salesforce.com
- Experience with CRM platform integrations to other systems/apps
- Experience with data loader or other Salesforce related data query tools
- Previous experience with Apex triggers and Visualforce page preferred
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong data management abilities
- Proficient with MS Word, and Visio (charts, reports, data analysis, and flowcharting)
- Ability to triage requests and determine appropriate priority based on key factors
- Proficiency in database concepts and manipulation (Excel, SQL, SOQL, Demand Tools, etc)
Preferred Credentials
- SFDC certified ADM 201 preferred
Education
- Undergraduate Degree required or equivalent work experience
