The role:

Our Senior DevOps Manager will be instrumental in establishing best practices for building and deploying systems to enable CI/CD of Braviant’s flexible, highly scalable online lending platform and our next-generation lending web applications. A successful Senior Manager will lead tactile and strategic decisions to identify and resolve dependencies, apply best practices and processes, and identify and mitigate risks to the on-time delivery of software. Additionally, this individual will manage our IT Operations Lead and various ad hoc IT Operations projects, including general technical support, user access, and troubleshooting.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll oversee our DevOps and IT Operations functions, directly managing our IT Operations Lead.
• You'll utilize your strong AWS knowledge to collaborate with the engineering team in building and supporting systems in AWS using technology like ECS/ECR, Postgres RDS, EC2, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, ELB/ALB, and S3
• You'll build and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for systems and software deployments, including infrastructure configuration, testing automation and deployment automation
• You'll help in the implementation of security, disaster recovery and redundancy strategies
• You'll monitor and support production infrastructure
• You'll monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify solutions, and collaborate with dev teams on the implementation of these solutions
• You'll assist and support developers with infrastructure requests
• You'll direct the IT Ops team, contributing when appropriate, on projects including IT security, help desk and desk side support for services such as Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira, and G-Suite.
• You'll collaborate with senior leadership to align department priorities to company goals and contribute to department strategy and execution of priorities
• You'll stay up to date with tools, trends, and technologies in the FinTech space

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5-8 years relevant experience
• Experience designing and implementing AWS environments
• Scripting and programming skills in various languages (Java, Python, Bash, etc)
• Previous experience overseeing IT infrastructure
• Extensive experience with Terraform, Container Orchestration, Docker, Networking (TCP, SSL, DNS), Jenkins, and Git
