Amount is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer. The right candidate for the role is an expert in IT engineering across networking, systems, security, and line-of- business applications. Core responsibilities include deployment, management, maintenance and support of IT services in the Amount enterprise.

What you’ll work on:

• Leverage your broad range of IT experience across systems, networking, security, and line-of- business applications to support all aspects of Amount IT Engineering.
• Representing the IT Team with your experience in IT compliance and risk management (e.g., security, privacy, data loss prevention, HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
• Developing detailed designs in the following areas: on-premise infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Data Center), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the Amount network and systems. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems.
• Document complex procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to systems, networks, security software and hardware.
• Leads in planning and implementing changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
• Configures security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
• Resolve advanced support issues while providing technical guidance and assistance to junior IT Engineers.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience in similar role
• 5+ years of Linux and Windows system administration managing servers and clients for 300+ person companies
• 5+ years supporting enterprise networks and associated technologies (BGP, OSPF, IPsec, OpenVPN, WiFi, 802.1x)
• Experience managing on-premise and cloud-based virtualization (VMware vSphere, Amazon Web Services)
• Experience with systems hardening and network security
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Icinga2, Cacti, snmp, PagerDuty)
• Experience with SSO solutions and implementation
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools 
• Experience with ITIL best practices
