Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
With over 4000 global software engineers, the IT Software Engineering Tools Team provides services that enable engineers to work in agile environments that increase their productivity and innovation. This position is for a Software Support Engineer within the IT organization that focuses on software development environments. Our new teammate will be primarily responsible for providing best in class support, collaborating with the software development teams and maintaining engineering development tool chain. This position will give the opportunity to work closely with many teams that cover many different software development aspects as well as to stay current with the latest trends in software development.
Technical Knowledge/Skills Required:
Experience in administration and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based environments
Experience with software development tools such as:
Jira, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Git, pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.), SonarQube, GitHub, ClearCase
Basic knowledge of cloud providers and their services (e.g. AWS, Azure )
Basic script programming knowledge (e.g bash, Python, etc)
Bachelors degree or Associates degree in a technical field is preferred
NICE TO HAVE:
SCM experience and understanding business processes
Good understanding of SecDevOps practices
Non-Technical Knowledge/Skills Required:
Self-starter with technical vision and an entrepreneurial spirit!

Open-minded attitude and a desire to be creative on a daily basis

3+ years of experience as an IT Software Business Analyst or Engineering tools support-facing role
High School Diploma
