Senior Manager, Licensing Services
As our Senior Manager, Licensing Services, you will lead a team of managers, facilitators, license advocates, license administrators and data analysts to support the onboarding of talent onto sales teams across GoHealth’s Marketplace. You will bring varied experience from the insurance industry, including training, licensing and a passion for employee and customer experience. You will work with business leaders to understand staffing and licensing needs and build strategies that achieve proficient, compliant and ready to sell agents to their program teams. You will accommodate and support a range of staffing and licensing needs throughout changing business dynamics. You will report to the VP of Organization Effectiveness & PMO.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to all phases of the pre insurance licensed candidate onboarding (state LOA training, LOA exam, resident/non-resident license and carrier appointments)
- Measure productivity goals and quality levels of team members and redirect resources if needed.
- Work with peers, senior level leaders and other partners (recruiting, HR, business leaders) to identify opportunities to improve our talent pipeline, licensing footprints and agents’ abilities to become ready to sell
- Design and organize financially sensible pre-licensing training and testing experiences that are accomplished with high lead to pass rates; analyze pass rate trends to use best practices across other locations
- Provide leadership to direct reports to implement and measure the effectiveness of ongoing testing, licensing, appointment and certification programs
- Guide the development plans for team members and certify they can manage all components of GoHealth’s license onboarding programs
- Help achieve larger scale staffing and licensing projects (e.g. new business, growth plans)
- Support transparent measurement/reporting of licensing, appointment and certification projects
- Take an active role in creating an environment of innovation, collaboration, transparency, and trust
Skills and Experience:
- BA or BS degree or related applicable experience
- 3 + years of licensing experience is required
- 3 + years of leadership experience is required
- Have deep understanding of state and federal health and Medicare insurance licensing requirements
- Ensure data integrity in the compliance management system and other resources
- Experience with licensing resources (e.g. NIPR, NC NAIC, RegEd)
- proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Exceptional listening skills and emotional intelligence to read and interpret team and leader dynamics
- Interest and passion for continuous improvement and applying the expertise of other team members
- Self-administer with limited administrative support
