Job Description

As a Senior Staffing and Resource Specialist, you will ultimately hold the keys to ensure the successful staffing of Rightpointers across our growing organization and you will be responsible for the overall strategy and management of the central staffing team. You will partner closely with our national practice and local office leadership to ensure we are staffing our teams for success across a variety of digital projects. The ultimate goal of this role is to assemble the best teams, balancing our project and client’s needs along with our team member’s career passions.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages project staffing decisions for a 250+ person delivery team
  • Continuously define or refining internal processes to ensure repeatability across projects, especially as new situations or scenarios are encountered.
  • Help inform team member career development opportunities and provide guidance as appropriate.
  • Works with leadership to communicate project assignments
  • Coordinates with leadership to assess burn out risk, travel requirements, and Rightpointer’s career goals
  • Keep up-to-date with sales pipeline and pending opportunity wins, to manage upcoming demand
  • Communicate upcoming staffing needs to recruiting team when internal resources aren’t available
  • Works with leadership to evaluate Rightpointer’s skillsets and level of expertise, ensuring we are staffing for success given project’s requirements
  • Optimize Rightpointer’s utilization by monitoring staffing gaps and project allocation
  • Organize and lead staffing meetings with national practice and geography leadership to communicate staffing issues and potential solutions
  • Develop staffing reports for national leadership’s review
  • Train all employees on staffing systems
  • Ensure collaboration across all locations optimize staffing with a national lens
  • Conduct effective performance evaluations and mentor those with less experience through formal and informal channels.
  • Challenge fellow team members to progress toward their professional development goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3-6 years’ experience in an agency and/or consulting environment with rapidly changing project needs
  • Strong communication skills and problem solving
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to changing demand, detail oriented and a strong work ethic.
  • Team player

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Transferable skills as a Project Manager or Planner
  • 4+ years’ experience in Resource Management (Centralized staffing function)
