Partner Support Specialist
Rocket Travel (DBA Rocketmiles.com), a Booking Holdings Company, is looking to add a Partner Support Specialist at our headquarters in Chicago’s West Loop.
At Rocketmiles, we help our customers earn loyalty rewards through hotel bookings so they can travel more. We work with loyalty programs worldwide (like Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and T-Mobile), and attract customers from every corner of the globe. The user experience is curated in-house from start to end: our team includes front- and back-end developers, customer service, data analysts, designers and marketers, accountants, and partnership managers.
We began as a start-up, and we were acquired by the Bookings Holdings Group in 2015. With a dedicated team, we're aiming for the stars.
Reporting to Sarah Moore, SVP of Global Partnerships, this role will primarily focus on supporting Partner Managers to grow current partnerships through:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dozen global team members to analyze existing partnership performance and identify improvement areas
- Assist with business development discussion preparations, opportunity analysis, and pitch creation
- Unearth new business opportunities within existing and new potential partnerships.
- Provide deck creation support for partner business reviews.
- Prepare accruals processing on a monthly basis and work closely with internal stakeholders to verify/improve processes
- Prepare weekly or bi-weekly performance reporting for partners
- Actively participate with partners on weekly calls to present findings and build partner relationships with day to day partner contacts.
The ideal candidate:
- Loves travel — miles/points junkies are encouraged to apply
- Has 1-2 years of strategy consulting (or similar) experience or a rockstar college grad looking to have an immediate impact; airline / hotel / travel / loyalty experience a plus but not required
- Has impeccable attention to detail, taking end-to-end ownership and quality control in all projects
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint or similar analytic / presentation creation programs; has a working knowledge of Google documents suite of products; SQL proficiency is a plus but not required
- Can work independently, but also as part of a fast-paced team
- Has a track record of meeting deadlines and finding workaround solutions where needed to accelerate pace
