Strategic Capacity Sourcing Representative

What you will be doing:
The mission of the Strategic Capacity Sourcing Representative is to focus on bulk sourcing and develop relationships with strategic carrier partners to increase our loads per carrier and increase efficiency. The Strategic Capacity Sourcing Representative will report to the Strategic Capacity Manager within the Carrier Sales department.
Responsibilities:
1. Source consistent capacity for repeat lanes and assist with sourcing projects/bulk awards
- Work with the strategic capacity team, Carrier Managers, and Customer Teams to identify lanes that need a carrier/routing guide development
- Organize calls with reps, carriers, and strategic capacity managers to discuss long-term capabilities of tagged carriers
- Build out DLs and routing guides for all lanes with 10+ monthly moves
- Sell to and develop relationships with targeted carriers within a region that are not actively working with MoLo
- Ensure sourced lanes get off the ground effectively once routing guide or contract is executed
- Create prospect list for every DAT market to market within region
2. Aggregate internal capacity to reverse sell and assist with pricing
- Maintain a centralized list of internal capacity needs (organize Carrier Lane Opportunities Slack Channel)
- Develop awareness into the capabilities of our top carriers so that we can grow with them
- Eventually assist the pricing team with all opportunity lanes that ship 150+ times annually
3. Reporting
- Drive key metrics to Carrier Sales leadership:
- Regional loads per carrier
- Tagged carrier percentage
- Total tagged carriers
- Routing guide compliance
- Manage prospect and routing guide lanes in their region and report on conversion rate
- Total number of contracted carriers within region
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- 2 years+ Carrier Sales experience (internal or external)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated individual who has a history of finding consistent capacity for lanes
- Familiarity with impactful sourcing techniques
