The Relativity Strategy & Business Operations Team drives our long-term strategy, owns our execution framework, and works on our most critical strategic and operational challenges including strategic transition to SaaS, global expansion, growth into adjacent markets within unstructured and structured big data, and commercial excellence.

As a Strategy and Business Operations Project Lead you will work directly with the C-level team. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects, project plan creation, and will own operational processes. Your will work on strategic projects, partner with teams cross-functionally, and be responsible for a subset of a strategic initiative. You will be exposed to all aspects of the business by working directly with the Executive Team.

In this role you will need to react and improvise as necessary, working autonomously to complete both well-defined and largely undefined projects. Your success will be dependent on your strong problem-solving skills, ability to anticipate needs and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. This position requires outstanding communication and follow up, analytical ability, interpersonal and organizational skills. Someone in this role must be self-motivated and possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and will be tasked with making sound judgement with discretion and respect to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with VP, Business Operations and Strategy and CEO on strategic long-term and short-term projects
  • Lead business-critical strategy projects such as growth, international go-to-market, M&A, and long-term adjacency strategies within the broader structured & unstructured big data industry
  • Partner with department heads and other leaders in the business from planning through execution/implementation 
  • Conduct research and coordinate with other teams and external vendors to gather key inputs to strategic planning process: facts, assumptions, customer feedback, competitive and market dynamics 
  • Work closely with the Executive Team to develop strategic framework and long-term business strategy
  • Design, organize, and conduct comprehensive management of projects with ambiguous and changing requirements – drive all projects to completion 
  • Work directly with leadership to provide meeting and communication support for internal teams, customers, and all Relativity (e.g. emails, presentations, decks, communication plans) 
  • Collaborate across functions (sales, finance, etc.) to coordinate or support additional operational needs 
  • Additional duties as needed 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with growth strategy, organizational change highly preferred 
  • Excellent analytical abilities and proven comfort working in a highly analytical environment 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and unstructured problems
  • Ability to independently multi-task, efficiently prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and ability to translate knowledge to new situations 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and across a variety of cultures 
  • Strong work ethic and integrity to handle confidential/sensitive information 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work 
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Travel up to 20% 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years in a professional services role or similar field, with 2+ years of management consulting experience 
  • Experience leading strategy projects and teams
  • Knowledge of or interest in technology industry preferred 

Project Leadership Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Strategy Associates, indirectly manage Associates on projects 
  • Manage project-specific teams made of subject matter experts from different departments and across seniority levels
